The ai is hard programmed to target casters If you bring wyll or gale on missions they are just like beacons for the enemy

@@theduke9292 Why does the game target Wyll a lot? As a warlock I would assume he has the same priority as a player warlock, which is to say, next to none.

the ai aims for the lowest AC character they can reach (unless you pissed them off with a smite or axe to the face) as they are the most likely to be hit. it’s why giving them one level of dragon sorcerer or an armoured class of choice (like cleric or pally) for better defences is a solid idea. atleast till you get some decent robes and strong defensive spells.

You plant a wizard into them that could wreck them with a single spell without defenses or protection? That's why my Gale is sporting a shield, light armor, the Abjurer subclass and hides behind a chest-high wall as if he would be playing CoD.

But it dosen't have grape flavor 😢

There's actually an achievement that you get by doing a complete long rest by only consuming alcoholic beverages.

If you're very careful about looting everything you end up with a lot of booze. I think Taz and the companions might have a "bit" of a drinking problem.

@@KenS1267 give them a break, they have a parasite in their brain that might make them a tentacled monster at any moment. They are just drinking to forget.

I got that one on accident because so much of the "food" you find in boxes throughout the game is wine. @@DarthStassen

If the game mentions something terrible that could happen to a character, assume there’s an ending where it happens.

You can trick the game into spawning a dragonborn one-off npc if you knock the Bard out before she shows up at night. Sure you are still snuffing out an innocent, but at least you don't know them personally!

​@@vilxxblack2472after that encounter I noticed there was a single kobold barrel left. Lae zel has held it this entire time, I'm in act 3 and I've long decided that lae zel will toss that barrel in the final fight for a surprise kobold, who will most certainly be one shot. But it'll be funny.

It's so silly especially when Tav is a tiefling, like, bro you look like normal tiefling, why are you crying about how monstrous and ugly you look, right in front of a tiefling at that smh

@@mrjones2721 nah, true hard to get is Astarion, unless you let him drink you daily and endure the -1 debuff. I mean, 70% of players being rejected by HIM exist. OR they were maining Gale(he is #1 among pre-made characters) so none had trouble to romance Gale.

@@fandango_boi I got tired of his “Not yet… not yet… not yet…” and after I saw a spoiler video of his sex scene, I decided it wasn’t worth it. I’m down for plenty of kinky stuff in games, but balls of flailing blue limbs isn’t one of them. You have to let Astarion drink DAILY? Urgh. That’s a lot of debuff to endure for love.

It's not that bad. In the first act alone there are 3 times as many magic items as you need to feed him comfortable. Just be curious and don't shy away from dark places :)

we are that grizzled dwarf, old wizard and orc brute companions

There was a dwarf companion in divinity 2 so maybe they felt like swapping it up or something. Maybe why there's also no dragon born cause of red prince by proxy? I'm not the hugest dwarf fan, but I did find the lack of a dwarf odd

There's also no Gnome or Halfling companion either. Why the hate for shorties, Larian?? :P
