I wouldn't say his 'personality', but to his coping mechanisms. SpoilerAlert! - he isn't actually horny, he's severely traumatised and didn't even want to have sex with anyone at that point.

@@lizapbSpoiler alert : he doesn't have sex with Tav if he doesn't like them, 'cause he have standards. So he doesn't have sex ONLY from a place of trauma, but also as a way to communicate.

@@checkchessy2978 no, that's not the only reason. He later confesses himself that he used sex as a way to manipulate Tav into tactical alliance. He only truly wants to have sex with Tav at the very end of his quest when he develops feelings of love: "I love you, I love this and I want it all"

@@checkchessy2978Not really. If he doesn't trust Tav or don’t see them as the most useful ally in the party, why would he sleep with them? He would simply go for one of the other characters who he thinks can keep him safe.
