@@ShadowFlipsy What I do is have Shadowheart memorize Command before starting that fight. Cast it on Zhalk and choose Command: Drop. He has a 65% chance of failing the save (recast if necessary) and dropping his sword, so once he does, just grab it and hightail it for the console. ;)

The animation seems to be based on EA version of the prologue, the release have considerable shortened sequence before you reqch the control room. Understandable, since it's probably took a lot of time to animate.
